National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) Spring Festival (Sponsored by NFMC)
(Each student is required to perform two selections from memory; one piece is chosen from a published list and the second piece must be an original classical composition. Students who participate in the Spring Festival participate in the piano solo division or flute division according to their level. Students receive ratings sheets and earn points towards a gold cup. A superior rating is equal to 5 points. Once you have obtained 15 points, you qualify for the first gold cup. The NFMC Spring Festival includes numerous piano and flute divisions such as:
Piano Solo
Piano Duet
Flute Solo, Flute Duet, Flute Trio, Flute Quartet, and/or Piccolo Solo
Hymn Division
Patriotic/Folk Division
